Description
Located in the south parking area of the Village Pointe Shopping Center, this is a growers market. There are no arts & crafts or processed foods. All foods are sourced locally and emphasis is on family farms and sustainable agriculture. Seasonal produce, pastured and grass-fed meats and eggs and some flowers and bedding plants are the main offerings. Most vendors honor the state sponsored Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program. Vendors are not required to be organic but are encouraged to practice natural and chemical-free, non-GMO and sustainable agriculture. Operates from May through September and many Saturdays offers special events.
May-September, Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
