Description

"What makes St. Marys perfect for a Community Market? Well, the first public markets were established in Europe during the early 18th century on the levees, where ships docked at the riverbank. Open air markets would sell locally grown produce, fragrant baked goods, seafood just off the boat, as well as hand-made crafts and wares to suit any need; the list could go on and on.   The St. Marys Community Market will serve many purposes. The primary goals include enticing the local citizenry to our amazing downtown area; attracting those visiting patrons to our impressive historical district in hopes that they will continue their venture downtown to include our local merchants and restaurants; and to provide a splendid arena to showcase the abundant local goods and talents readily available here.

"year round - 206 Osborne Street (Tribune & Georgian Parking Lot), Every Saturday, 9-1 PM"
