The Farmers Market offers a fun, family friendly atmosphere that provides a wonderful opportunity for learning about the benefits of locally grown produce. The market is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Fridays. The market is located in Greenville on County Home Road. To get to the market, take Arlington Blvd. south and continue straight through the Fire Tower Road intersection. Arlington Blvd. then becomes County Home Road. The market is located on mile on the right-hand side of the road before you get to Wintergreen Primary School.
Produce available at the Farmers Market in May includes strawberries, sweet potatoes, white onions, collards, beans and pecans. You can also find breads, eggs, nuts, jams/jellies, pickles, house plants and vegetable plants.
