Description
"Mission Statement ""Building community in New Hope and the surrounding areas by providing locally grown and produced foods and merchandise in a vibrant open air market."" The Creation The New Hope Community Farmers Market (NHCFM) was created in October of 2008 by a group of community members who saw the need for a central gathering place where residents could acquire healthy foods from local farmers and food producers to assist in the move towards a more sustainable community. They wanted a place where local artists and crafters could showcase their wares and community groups could get the word out about their vital organizations. This group had a vision of an exciting area where neighbors could meet, enjoy music, and get to know one another in a relaxed environment. The New Hope Community Farmers Market will be that place. It will be our ""front porch"" where we take a moment to chat with our neighbors, enjoy life's simple pleasures, and eat fruit. Who We Are The New Hope Community Farmers market is organized as a 501(c)4 non-profit corporation. We are managed by the Market Board of Directors which consists of community residents, city leaders, and market vendors. Our market consists of a variety of vendors - farmers, food processors, artists, crafters, local businesses and community organizations.
