Description

"Located on the beautiful, historic square of Oskaloosa, the Mahaska Ruritans Farmers Market, in it's 30th season, is one of Iowa's longest running markets and Mahaska County's only market. We accept produce that is grown within Mahaska County or in any of the six adjoining counties. Our growers are reknown for producing the sweetest sweet corn and the juiciest melons. We also have baked good available, including home-made noodles, breads and pies. A group of local beekeepers furnish honey and related goods. Vendor stalls are located in the shade of the trees which surround Oskaloosa's unique bandstand, all in the center of our Main Street square on Tuesday afternoons beginning at 4:00pm and running until about 6:00pm, on the east side of the square, across from the Mahaska County Courthouse.

May-October On the east side of the square, across from the Mahaska County Courthouse Tuesdays, 4-6pm On South D Street, located in the Hy-Vee parking lot. Saturdays, 8-11am.
