"The new Krankies Local Market in downtown Winston-Salem will feature locally grown foods from farmers using sustainable methods. The market will be every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Krankies Coffee, 211 E. Third Street, beginning in May 2009. The market is a joint effort between Krankies Coffee and Triad Buying Co-op Inc. to increase the availability of locally produced, high-quality food. The market will include vegetables, fruit, honey, eggs, goat cheese from Goat Lady Dairy, bread from Camino Bakery, and Krankies' freshly roasted coffee beans. Before inviting farmers to sell at Krankies, we visit their farms to get to know them and their practices. We also allow only items grown or made by the vendors.

May-November, Krankies Coffee, 211 E. Third Street, Winston-Salem, every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
