The season will begin May 16 and run every Saturday, rain or shine, through September 26. The market will open at 9:00 am and run through 12:00 (noon). Conveniently located in the Historic Courthouse District of Kenton, the market is held on West Columbus Street between Detroitand Market Streets. Farmers Market shopping is part of an entirely different way of looking at your food and community, one that allows you to become part of the process rather than simply being the consumer. Vendors offer a variety of products from raw honey, herbal soaps, handmade pottery, jewelry and Amish handcrafted furniture, purses and baskets. Pork, lamb, and eggs are often found along with hydroponically grown tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries and bib lettuce.
