Description

Open four days a week during the growing season, Fondy is one of Milwaukee's oldest and largest farmers market. We specialize in locally grown and produced fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs and food products including many hard to find native Asian vegetables. Fondy provides an outlet for affordable, nutritious food, works to boost the local economy, and serves as a cultural crossroads attracting people of different races and ethnicities from all over the city.

Throughout the season, we host a range of festivals and entertainment, as well as regularly scheduled health education, nutrition and culinary workshops. Income is no barrier - our farmers accept the Quest card (food stamps) and WIC and SFMNP coupons.

Fondy offers opportunities for internships in community health outreach and marketing. We also welcome volunteers who would like to help with market operations.

When and Where: June-November, Sunday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m, Saturday, 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m, Closed on Fridays.
