Description
The Cheyenne Farmers Market began more than two decades ago to bring together the community, while offering regional growers and vendors an opportunity to sell their fresh produce, artisan breads, jams, honey, plants, shrubs, roasted chili’s, and natural beef. It also raises funds for Community Action programs that assist low-income and homeless individuals and families in Laramie County. The Cheyenne Farmers Market continues this tradition each year. Beginning the first Saturday of August and continuing for 10 Saturdays through October, thousands of Laramie County residents visit the Market to purchase fresh farm produce and specialty foods. While selling food and raising funds are two main goals, another focus--as you can see - is to provide a community gathering spot to have fun.
