WELCOME to the Carlton County Farmer's Market! Our farmers bring you locally-grown, fresh-picked fruits and vegetables from June to October, as well as breads, jams and jellies, honey, eggs, meat, flowers, plants and fine crafts.

In Cloquet, the Market is open Saturday mornings from 9 to 11 am in front of Premiere Theatres, 904 Hwy 33 S. Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 4, the first day of the 2016 Market. The season runs through October 15.

We're trying something new this season on Saturday mornings. Vendors can now set up beginning at 8 am and sell before the official start time of 9 am. We think the change will appeal to customers and vendors who like to get an early start. Let us know what you think!

The Carlton Market opens Tuesday, June 7, 2016, from 4 to 6 pm, at Four Seasons Sports Complex and Event Center, 90 Chestnut Ave It ends October 11. The afternoon Market offers a convenient place and time to shop after work, and grew in size and popularity during the 2015 season.

Our 2016 season begins with our annual plant sale June 4th (Cloquet) and 7th (Carlton). Save a spot in your garden for our healthy, hardy transplants that are well-adapted to northern conditions. We'll offer over 30 varieties of tomatoes alone--many of them heirloom and open-pollinated varieties hard to find elsewhere. Interesting varieties of pepper, broccoli, cabbage, herb, and perennial plants will also be on sale.

Each week brings new seasonal produce and products to the Farmers Market. Longtime vendors and new members are always willing to answer your questions and talk about their wares. Be sure to sign up for our monthly drawings, too. You might win a basket full of Market goodies.
