Bozeman Winter Farmers' Market

Contact Info

Name: Mary Schaad
111 South Grand Avenue

Description

The Bozeman Winter Farmers' Market is the first of its kind in Montana and defies the assumption that Montana lacks access to local food year round. You'll find a selection of vegetables, both storage and fresh greens (if you get there early enough to snatch them up!). A variety of meats to chose from include beef, pork, lamb, and salmon. You'll be able to find eggs, herbs, oil, flax and lentils. Cheese, hummus, jams and preserves as well as granola, crackers, bread, cake, cookies, and choclates. You'll even find some must-haves that aren't on your grocery list: body care products, wool, and seeds to start your own garden. Hot meals are also available that feature local foods. The Bozeman Winter Farmers' Market is a project of Western Sustainability Exchange.
