Description
This year-round market features fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs and cheeses, honey, breads and bakery items, herbal soaps, and more for the shoppers who throng the L-shaped layout tucked into a parking lot across from the Arlington County courthouse. With metered parking in the lot off North Courthouse Road, as well as free parking in an underground lot off north 14th Street, the market attracts at least 3,000 visitors on a typical Saturday morning. Some of them are there to consult with the Master Gardeners, who set up a stand to answer gardening questions throughout the summer, or meet with the tree Stewards who show up once a month to give advice to anyone who asks. But most people are there to wander the tents, tasting the fresh produce raised locally and stocking their larders with as much as they can carry! More than 30 vendors set up in the summer; that number drops by a few during the winter cold, but you can count on there being enough variety to fill your pantry no matter what the month.
Year round Saturdays, year-round, from 8:00 AM to noon. (9 AM start in winter) The Arlington Farmers' Market is located adjacent to the Arlington County Courthouse Parking Lot, at the intersection of N. Courthouse Rd. and N. 14th St. We are located one block from the Courthouse Metro stop on the Orange Line.
