Lisa Orr is the Sustainability Program Coordinator for Frederick County, MD. She coordinates the Green Homes Challenge which helps households reduce energy use, adopt environmentally-friendly practices and use renewable energy. She is also involved with green building practices and policies.
Ms. Orr served on Frederick County’s Sustainability Commission in 2009. Between 1997 and 2009, she was Executive Director of the County’s volunteer center, Volunteer Frederick. She has a Bachelors degree in art and geology from Oberlin College, a Masters degree in geology from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Case Western Reserve University.
