The Natural Choice for Colorado’s First Energy Freedom New Home Festival on August 27 & 28 is Wild Pointe Ranch in Elizabeth The 1,100-acre Wild Pointe Ranch community, with its dedication to near-zero energy efficiency, was the natural choice to host Colorado’s first Energy Freedom New Home Festival. The centerpiece of the event will be one of the state’s first decorated model homes built to Energy Star 3.0 specifications. The Craftsman-style model with over 3,000 square feet of living area is among the most energy efficient homes on the entire 2011 Denver Parade of Homes Tour. The model was built by Scott Moberg, owner of G.J. Gardner Homes-Parker. The Energy Freedom New Home Festival will take place at 33015 Legacy Ridge Street in Elizabeth, just 15 minutes south of Parker. Admission and events are free. The activities include a children’s petting farm, pony rides, open-air club car rides, energy smart exhibits and more. Open to all 2011 Denver Parade of Homes visitors and the general public.
