Organization: Juice Plus

Summary: As a Juice Plus+ Rep and member of the World-Wide Children's Health Foundation, my Juice Plus+ team and I have sponsored and paid for the over 100 children on the Juice Plus+ Children's Health Study here in FFLD, in 16 states and in 5 countries. The completed nutritional surveys submitted to date of eating Juice Plus+ for three yrs shows an increase of consumption of fruits and vegetables by 76% in children and 83% in adults. I work with the PTA sponsored committee, Fuel For Learning Partnership working to improve the nutrition of the school lunches in FFLD. Annually, I help to organize and run the Food For Thought Expo. I initiated and completed the building of the Dwight School gardens and am supporting the "School to Garden" initiative. I host free nutrition education programs for families and individuals which include visiting our vegetable garden and chickens. Juice Plus+ has been a catalyst for improving and maintaining my family's healthy, green lifestyle along with those families and individuals open to learning more.
