Summary:

Greener Living has been a multi-year labor of love intended to create a "one stop shop" for everything green and sustainable in Middle Tennessee. While green homes and green building are an integral part of the growth of the sustainability culture locally, lifestyle choices and access to things such as safe sidewalks, green spaces, and healthy locally grown food are also an integral part of Nashville's emergence as an environmentally progressive city and it's my goal to provide comprehensive info about both. I have spent the last few years studying and receiving my Ecobroker and NAR Green designations and am active nationally in promoting the green building movement. In addition, I petitioned and consulted with the Middle Tennessee Multiple Listing service to have over 25 green features added to the MLS and am currently chairing the Environmental committee for the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors. I have become a contributing columnist for Agent Genius Magazine and in March of 2010 was asked by Trulia to write a column for their national newsletter which lead to a week long stint as their nationally featured blogger.
