Summary: I started Sustainable Greenville, an online network, an educational resource and consultation service focused around sustainability and organics. It was designed to connect citizens to the organizations, businesses and events that are improving quality of life by implementing sustainable practices. The website includes an organizations page; a business directory; a comprehensive calendar of green, healthy and sustainable events; and a blog dealing with sustainability issues in the Greenville area. My primary mission in life is to connect people to issues of sustainability and health. Sustainable Greenville is currently focused on expanding services and developing the most comprehensive business directory of supporters for sustainable action in the Upstate. Ed is also the Board Chair for the Greenville Organic Foods Organization, organizes the GreenWorks Greenville Networking Group, works with Natural Awakenings magazine and sits on the Agriculture Working Group for the American Sustainable Business Council.
