How Green is Cleveland?

Together, we will make a difference.

Mayor Frank G. Jackson:

Cleveland is becoming a green city on a blue lake. The Sustainable Cleveland 2019 (SC2019) initiative has grown in to a powerhouse of ideas and programs that will not only improve the long term economy of Cleveland but will also help to create a resilient and vibrant City. With our urban gardens, local procurement, green building standards, and excellent multimodal transportation, Cleveland is building a green future.
