Description

Follow the Water

These three simple words form the guiding principle of Waterkeepers, who understand the one thing that many of the rest of us seem to ignore: Without water, there can be no life. Without clean water, there can be no healthy life.

Waterkeepers fight for your right to clean water in nearly 200 watersheds worldwide.

Water is at the core of today's most pressing issues-security and scarcity, energy and climate change, the cause and spread of infectious disease.  Communities are looking for ways to protect this right, as the quality and quantity of water resources decline around the world.

Waterkeeper Alliance is the voice for the world's waters, from the Great Lakes to the Ganges.

Join our movement to protect your right to clean water by learning more about water and supporting our work and the work of your local Waterkeeper organization.
