Norwalk Go Green: Public Education and Action to Create a Sustainable City

Category: Connections

Initiative Objective:

Initiative Objective

Norwalk Go Green will help activate citizens, businesses and government officials realize all the opportunities available for creating affordable energy, cleaner and greener lifestyles and balanced and sustainable land use. While there have been several sustainable city projects in Norwalk, there is no central, consistent and open source of information and activities that benefit the public on a regular basis. Norwalk Go Green will also encourage its elected and appointed government officials to include the public in planning and decisionmaking.
