NOFA's Organic Land Care Program is committed to educating land care professionals and advanced gardeners and homeowners a complete systems approach to landscape design and maintenance which is not only non-toxic, but supports native biodiveristy and ecosystem health. Each year, NOFA offers a five-day intensive course that provides participants with the education needed to create thriving organic landscapes. Professionals who pass the optional exam at the end of the course become NOFA Accredited Organic Land Care Professionals, which entitles them to the use of the NOFA OLC logo, as well as professional listings and referrals through NOFA OLC website and print resources. The 2012 annual Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA) Accreditation Course in Organic Land Care will be held on January 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 2012 (snow date Jan. 15) at Worcester State University in Massachusetts. The 2012 Connecticut Course will be held February 15, 16, 17, 21 and 22, 2012 at the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station in New Haven, CT and the Rhode Island Course will be in Charleston RI from February 27 to March 2.
