Here at Ballek's Garden Center we will sponsor an open-house/ inspirational and refreshment stop for a state wide bike/hike/electric-car/carpool/vanpool tour and rally which I believe will culminate as a rally in New Haven. I will showcase a large solar PV and solar hot water installation here at the garden center that really works amazingly well. Besides saving thousands of gallons of fossil fuel usage per year and saving a lot of money immediately as well as over the long run, these systems are attractive, affordable, and available to anyone with a suitable site in the sun!!! We will provide refreshments, rest room facilities, and free charging for electric vehicles which will draw energy directly from the sun!!!! We are located 0.3 mi off Town St./ Rt 151 in East Haddam Ct. aprox. 30 miles from New Haven.
