Description

Sun Gold Farm is owned and operated by Charlie and Vicki Hertel, and our son Chris. Chris is the fifth generation of our family to farm this soil in the fertile Tualatin Valley west of Portland. We take pride in offering only the healthiest and highest quality fruits and vegetables. We do not use pesticides, and we carefully rotate our crops to maintain soil health and fertility. Most of the farm work is done by the three of us, with some seasonal help from friends in the peak of summer. Our main outlets are local farmers markets and our Vicki's Harvest Box CSA program. Please visit our website for more information.

The Vicki's Harvest Box is delivered weekly to the Hillsboro Intel campuses, NIKE campus, Columbia Sportswear, NE PDX neighborhood, SE Portland, Aloha, Newberg, any of the many markets we attend, and at the farm. Fresh flowers are sometimes included at no extra charge. We also keep you informed via weekly newsletter and free recipes! Our CSA shares are especially liked because of the variety of crops that we grow. We not only grow a wide variety of vegetables, but many tree and cane fruits also.
