The Urban Farmer is a resource for the individual, the family, and for the community to know where their food comes from. Whether we grow it, our farm partners grow it, or you grow it, we are your resource for knowing where your food comes from.

We are a new vertical hydroponic farm in the middle of an industrial area in Pompano Beach. We currently offer a CSA membership that offers fresh food straight from the farm. We have also partnered with other farmers to bring other local foods to the area. Varieties are given based on what is available during that week. You will not receive anything that is imported from outside the USA, so varieties will be limited to seasonal growing in our local region of the country.

The 2010-2011 CSA Membership is now available for early sign-up. Based on our planting season and the farmer's we work with, we expect harvest to begin late October or early November. Please Contact us if you have any questions or if are interested in becoming a member of our Regional Farm based CSA program. Limited membership available.

The purpose of our CSA subscription program is to feature small farmers found in Florida. Informing you who the farmer is who grew your food as well as knowing where and how it was grown is central to our approach. The Urban Farmer CSA program is designed to be as far away from a produce delivery service as possible. This simply means that if it is not grown locally it will more than likely not be available to subscribers.
