TaylOrganic Farm Dba Split Cedar Farm
TaylOrganic Farm dba Split Cedar Farm is a family-owned and operated farm just southeast of the Atlanta perimeter in Henry County, Georgia. Neil and Marcia Taylor and their family, along with dedicated local workers, grow some of the finest southern vegetables, figs, and berries in the Southeast. After being Certified "Organic" for over 10 years we at present are a Certified Naturally Grown (CNG) entity.
In 1996, TaylOrganic operations expanded into Southeast Georgia, where the farm leases acreage, and the family raises several varieties of organic blueberries there until present. In 2001, TaylOrganic Farm began offering not only fresh and frozen vegetables and berries but also figs and bottles and jars of value-added items, including jams, relishes, pickles, and ciders.
TaylOrganic Farm offers its products and produce through its year-round Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) venture with other Georgia farms. Our CSA patrons enjoy a weekly box full of healthy food to supplement their corporate grocery store purchases. Our healthy, locally grown food is freshly picked and does not travel several thousand miles before arriving in your hands. Our farm offers a wide variety of crops which ensures an exciting mix of produce for all of our CSA customers on a weekly basis. You can always expect 8-10 items weekly. Anyone interested in participating in a ongoing year round CSA (where you can sign up at any time during the year and skip as you need too ) can view our CSA contract online at http://taylorganic.blogspot.com/ or you may contact Neil by phone (404) 862-9394 to get specific information about a CSA membership.
