Description
During the main growing season we offer a farmers market style distribution so that there is a choice of what you would like. During the 'winter season', we offer boxed shares with a mixture of roots, squash, greens and a Tait Farm Foods specialty food product.
For over 55 years, Tait Farm has been serving the local community. Purchased by Marion and Elton Tait in 1950, the farm has become famous for it's Christmas trees, Basset hounds, exceptional produce and specialty food products. Community Harvest CSA was started in the year 2000 with the goal of sustaining the farmlands and strengthining our relationship with the community by growing the healthiest, most abundant produce we could imagine. Now entering our 9th season, we grow food for over 180 families each year, several local restaurants and one farmers market. We also provide a market for other local farmers and food producers that share our commitment and passion for the sustainable agriculture and strengthening regional food systems.
