Description
Shareholders will receive a weekly bag of the produce we grow, from April through sometime in October or until we get close to the time of frost. A Half Share provides approximately 3-10 lbs of freshly harvested produce each week, enough vegetables for 1 to 3 people. A Full Share provides approximately 5-12 lbs of freshly harvested produce each week, enough vegetables for 2 or 4 people. You will experience a variety of vegetables that change with the seasons. From early spring with luscious greens and radishes, through the peak of the summer with rich flavored tomatoes, freshly picked sweet corn, green beans, and into the cool days of fall with hearty root vegetables like potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, winter squash, beets, and kale.
STEPS Victory Garden, is family run and owned, we are currently seeking organic certification. We have a small plot of ground, with many varieties of vegetables. We are a C.SA .farm and we begin selling subscriptions in Jan. We may be able to sell all year round when we get a hydroponics system set up. We may start to sell to restaurants and other areas as well.
A full share is $400.00 and you will receive 15 to 20 pounds of produce weekly, what is growing. A half share is $200.00 and you will receive 10 to 15 pounds of produce weekly, what is growing. If you purchase a share you can pick up your produce directly from us, as we currently do not have any other pick up locations.
