Description
We grow a full range of vegetables and pick-your-own flowers. We also offer flower shares (just flowers, no vegies)
Stearns Farm CSA is a non-profit corporation funded primarily by the sale of shares in the harvest, with help from volunteers, foundations, and individual donors.
Our Mission: Preserving the historic Stearns Farm as a sustainable garden while providing locally and naturally grown food in partnership between the land, the farmer, and the community.
When you join a CSA you buy a "share" of the harvest. During the growing season you come to the farm each week and collect vegetables harvested only minutes before. We are talking FRESH! We use no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. NATURALLY GROWN with full flavor! We are talking the HEALTHIEST produce you can buy (at a price lower than supermarket Organic)!
A share feeds a family of four or a couple on a vegetarian diet.
