STACKED STONE is a small-scale family farm nestled in the hills above beautiful Seneca Lake in the wine country region of the Finger Lakes. Our place is an original historic farm, with the ruins of stacked stone foundation farm buildings scattered throughout the property - and that's how we got our name! We are following organic practices - no chemicals or hormones. We have a local farmer who grinds and mixes our feed for us. Our fertilizer is compost and manure...it's amazing what a little doo can do! :) Our focus is on raising Ark Of Taste and heritage products, we want to stay small and sustainable. We raise our own hatched Cornish X chicks, butchering them at 10 weeks for good size and excellent flavor.
