Our CSA fruit and vegetable subscription normally runs from late April through mid-October with a WINTER GREEN share available November through December. The regular season CSA subscription runs approximately 26 weeks , and provides a half bushel box per week of fruits, vegetables, salad greens, and herbs. Early season offerings are somewhat smaller in volume.

Located in the flint hills tall grass prairie region of east central Kansas, Shepherd's Valley is a family owned diversified farm featuring fruits, vegetables, and herbs, direct marketed to consumers through two seasonal CSA subscription programs per year. The regular CSA subscription runs from late April through early October. Our special "Winter Green" subscription for fresh salad greens and cold-hardy crops runs from late October through December. We have been gardening using chemical-free, biologically sound methods for over 30 years. We follow organic and sustainable principles in all aspects of the farm.

We also raise pastured poultry including broilers, heritage turkeys, and farm fresh eggs.
