Description

We offer a Market Basket program. The program consists of 1 - 4 week session and 3 - 6 week sessions. It runs from late April to the end of September. Each week the subscriber comes to the farm and picks up their market basket. The baskets are full of an array of fresh items. We offer fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, baked goods from our bakery, honey, eggs, and fresh cut flowers and herbs.

Nestled among the rolling hills of western Pennsylvania is a century old farm. Once a grain and beef farm, Reeger's Farm is devoted to growing high quality fresh fruits and vegetables. Starting in mid April our market opens with early bedding plants, asparagus (if ready), and a bakery/cafe full of delectable treats. Strawberries and early summer vegetables are available in June. Blueberries, sweet corn and other main season vegetables are picked in July. Tomatoes, green beans, sweet corn, and peppers are the big crop for August and September. October is our big pumpkin harvest season. Our annual Pumpkin Festival is held on the first two Saturdays in of the month. Hayrides to the pumpkin patch, picking your own pumpkin, straw jumps, corn maze, barnyard animals keep everyone busy at the farm. We finish the season at the end of October and close up shop til the spring.
