Description

Old Oak Family Farm
Our farm has been in the Niedfeldt family since 1906. We are certified organic through the Midwest Organic Services Association (MOSA). We grow vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers, and sell wild crops (harvested on our land) such as morel mushrooms, hickory nuts, and blackberries. Our vegetable selection includes standards such as carrots, broccoli, lettuce, squash, and tomatoes to less common items including okra, tomatillos burdock roots, brussel sprouts, ground cherries, plus many others. Available fruit varieties include apples, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, pears, and plums. We sell our produce weekly at the Cameron Park Market in La Crosse (5th St & King). Direct orders are always welcome, and order sheets are available weekly on-line.

Becoming a member of a CSA creates a responsible relationship between people and the food they eat, the land on which it is grown and those who grow it.

What is in a share? From June through October (20 weeks), members will receive a weekly box of seasonal produce from our farm. For the 2010 season, we are offering shares for full shares for $550 (20 boxes for pick up every week) and half shares for $300 (10 boxes picked up every-other-week).
