Description
The 2011 share includes strawberries, summer red raspberries, black raspberries, black and red currants, and (possibly) gooseberries. Fall raspberries and elderberries are available as post-season pay-as-you-go U-pick (late August and September). Half shares are not offered but it's fine to share a share with friends. Sorry, no part-season shares in 2011 -- they'll probably be back in 2012 once a new strawberry planting gets going. A 3-hour-per-season work commitment is strongly encouraged but not required; working members receive a $25 discount.
Kestrel Perch Berries is a U-pick farm offering season memberships (CSA) and a limited amount of pay-as-you-go U-pick. Crops include strawberries, red and black raspberries, red and black currants, gooseberries, and blackberries, with more varieties of small fruits planned for the future. No chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides are used.
