Description
Iverson Family Farm
We grow a variety of vegetables, herbs and fruits. The cost is $400 for a season and $250 for a half share. CSA shareholders pick up produce on the farm on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We will make deliverys for an additional fee. Any produce not picked up will be given to the local food pantry. Market lambs will be available in August for a price to be set at that time. Please select your lamb if interested but it is not part of the Vegetable/Fruit CSA. Breeding stock is for sale all year long. We are adding low and high tunnels for long growing season.
The Iverson Family Farm raises quality market lambs that are rotationally grazed on our 11 acre farm. We have a fruit orchard. We have the following fruit trees: apple, pear, plum, and cherry. Our 10,000 square foot garden has a variety of produce for your enjoyment from April until as late as November.
Our ewe flock is a mix of heritage breeds such as Texel, Suffolk, Hampshire and Oxford. They all come from quality breeding stock. If you would like to purchase fair lambs, come and visit us in April or May.
If you would like a farm tour of our farm, orchard or gardens, please call and set up a tour. We are excited to be selling CSA shares this year on a limited basis. Sign up early to reserve your spot. Each member will receive a newletter and may receive farm produce throughout the season.
