Description
On our small farm we raise a diverse variety of fruit, herbs, cut flowers and produce along with dairy goats, laying and meat chickens, lambs and feeder pigs. This year we hope to have turkeys available for Thanksgiving. We practice biodynamic principles and work diligently to produce quality products in a sustainable and practical way to maintain the beauty and health of this land, the animals under our care, our customers and ourselves.
Most of our produce and fruit is sold through a CSA. Our CSA runs from mid March until the mid December and if you are interested in our CSA we have some shares available for 2009.
From our own produce and fruit we also make a wide variety of pickles, relishes, jellies, jams, herb vinegars and other traditional canned and processed products including crock style sauerkraut .
We allow for a certain amount of flexibility and most weeks allow the shareholder to choose about 1/2 of their share from an optional list which includes produce, fruit, eggs and honey.
