Brook Farm Project operates a 70 acre not-for-profit farm 2.5 miles west of New Paltz that raises vegetables, fruits, and animals using humane, chemical-free farming methods that support the health of the consumer, the farm worker, and the environment. As a research and educational facility it is dedicated to the development and teaching of sustainable farming practices, providing a site for field trips, tours, internships, and other activities. The CSA began in 2006, providing fresh, local, seasonal produce to residents of the New Paltz area and beyond.
