Description
we grow many vegetables with emphasis on sweet corn, squash, tomatoes, including heritage, & pumpkins. We market at the Ames Farmers' Market, Slater Farmers' Market, Polk City Farmers' Market, on the farm and wholesale. We have many vegetables that we are offering as pick your own. Give us a call to see what is available. We have a pick your own pumpkin patch in the fall. We are open for farm visits April through November. We have a CSA from our farm and with Ames Downtown Farmers' Market. We are expanding our CSA in 2011.
we would like to have each CSA shareholder choose the products they would like before planting time. That way we can grow what you want and the amounts needed for your family. We welcome members to visit our farm and take a tour to see the crops growing. We will deliver for 20 weeks starting May 22 and continue into October with fall crops. We will be expanding and encourage you to join for the freshest vegetables and fruits.
